b. Inspection

Measure outside diameter of breech cam pin (5) bearing surface. Replace if less than 0.748 inch (18.999

mm).

Measure inside diameter of left hinge pinhole of breech cam (6). Replace breech cam if greater than 0.7505

inch (19.06 mm).

Inspect breech cam (6). Replace if there are any cracks or if cam path is distorted.

c. Assembly/Installation

1

Install cam stop (16), flat washer (15), and new self-locking nut

(14) at mount below hinge (11).
