AIR PRESSURIZATION TUBES AND FITTINGS (ENGINE LDS-465-2).
a. Cleaning.
FRAME 1
WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an
open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when
solvent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places.
Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel
and damage to equipment.
Eye shields must be worn when using compressed air.
Eye injury can occur if eye shields are not used.

Air pressurization tubes (1, 2 and 3) are copper tubes
covered with a nonmetallic sheath. Generator air inlet
tube assembly (4) is made of rubber. Do not clean
rubber generator air inlet tube assembly with dry
cleaning solvent or it will dry out and crack.
Clean inside of air pressurization tubes (1,
2 and 3) with brass wire probes.
Flush inside of air pressurization tubes (1, 2 and 3) with dry cleaning solvent.
Blow dry with compressed air.
Clean rubber generator air inlet tube assembly (4) with soapy water. Blow
dry inside of tube with compressed air.
