Check valve seat (1) for proper valve seating. If valve seats properly,

an even wear ring (2) will be seen as shown. If valve does not seat

properly, wear ring (2) will be broken in places as shown.

NOTE

There are two valve seats (1) in crankcase breather

valve housing (3), one on each side of housing.

Do step 1 again for valve seat on other side of crankcase breather valve

housing (3).

If either valve seat (1) is bad, get a new crankcase breather valve

assembly.
