MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. GPU FAILS TO START WHEN ON PUSHBUTTON IS DEPRESSED.
IS AC POWER CABLE CONNECTED TO SOURCE?
IF NOT, CONNECT TO AC SOURCE.
IS ON SWITCH DEFECTIVE?
REMOVE ON/OFF SWITCH ASSEMBLY ACCESS PLATE. USING AN OHMETER
TEST ON SWITCH FOR CONTINUITY BY PLACING TEST LEADS ACROSS THE
REAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY TERMINALS AND PRESSING THE PUSHBUTTON.
IF A CONTINUITY INDICATION IN NOT OBTAINED THE SWITCH IS DEFECTIVE.
REPLACE DEFECTIVE SWITCH IN ACCORDANCE WITH PARA. 3-24,
HAS THERMAL OVERLOAD SWITCH OPENED?
OPEN THE LEFT ACCESS DOOR AND PRESS THE STARTER RELAY–RESET BUTTON
IS SAFETY COVER PROPERLY SECURED?
IF NOT, SECURE SAFETY COVER.

IS GPU SAFETY INTERLOCK SWITCH (l), STARTER RELAY (2), OR MOTOR (3) DEFECTIVE?
Change 1
