Check material. If brittle or torn, scrape gasket
from mating surfaces.
Remove protective paper from adhesive on
cover plate side of gasket.
Install new gasket on cover plate (2).

Cut new wire about 8 inches long.
Strip insulation to length of terminal sleeve.
Insert wire into terminal. Crimp terminal and
solder (item 6, app D).
Cut two pieces of insulation sleeving 3/4 inch
long and slide to center of wire.
Strip insulation to depth of solder well of pin B.
Insert ground wire B into solder well and solder
(item 6, app D).
