Parking brake set. (TM 9-2320-272-10)
Battery ground cables disconnected. (Volume 2,

0350)
REMOVAL
1.
Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 2) and retainer shift linkage (Figure 1, Item 3) from left side of transmission
(Figure
1, Item 1).
NOTE
Tag wires for installation.
2.
Disconnect wires (Figure 1, Items 5 and 6) from neutral start switch (Figure 1, Item 4).
3.
Remove neutral start switch (Figure 1, Item 4) from left side of transmission (Figure 1, Item 1).
