Install pilot (9) and rear oil seal (8) on crankshaft (4).

Using alignment tool, drive rear oil seal (8) on crankshaft (4).

Remove alignment tool from crankshaft (4).
5.
Remove pilot (9) from crankshaft (4) and rear oil seal (8).
6.
Install crankshaft adapter (3), flexplate (2), and clamping ring (1) on crankshaft (4) with eight
screws (6). Tighten screws (6) 100 lb-ft (136 N·m) in sequence shown.
