Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working

around vehicle.

Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.

Jewelry

and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment or

severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.

Step 9.

Disconnect engine harness connector MC4.

Check for continuity across wire 451 from

connector MC4, terminal J to connector MC 20, terminal E1.

a.

If there is continuity, repair ECU vehicle/selector harness wire 451

(TM 9-2320-325-14&P) or notify Supervisor.

b.

If there is no continuity, repair engine harness wire 451

(TM 9-2320-325-14&P) or notify Supervisor.
