While assistant pushes in and pulls out flatrack locking valve, observe air chamber operation.

CONDITION/INDICATION

Does air chamber(s) rod(s) move out?

DECISION

Moves Out - Go to (Step 4 - Are flatrack locking mechanism components free of damage?).

Not Out - Replace air chamber (WP

0104). Go to (Step 5 - Does flatrack locking mechanism latch(es) lock?) to verify

problem is solved.

STEP 4

Are flatrack locking mechanism components free of damage?

Be sure to wear the proper eye protection when working on or around pressurized air systems

if not injury or death could result.

Visually inspect locking mechanism, looking for bent, broken and/or rusted components.
