NOTE
Soap and water solution will be used to visually check for leaks.
125 ± 5 psi (861 ± 34 kPa) must be supplied to trailer air system before
troubleshooting can begin.
Air lines and valves listed in this troubleshooting procedure are illustrated and located
in Air System Schematic.
1.
Push in flatrack locking valve. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10 (WP
0190).
Figure 1.

2.
Listen for leaks on following air lines and components: air lines 2080, 2078, 2081, fittings, pressure holdback
valve, flatrack locking valve, and air chambers.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Are air lines 2078, 2080, 2081, fittings, pressure holdback valve, flatrack locking valve, and air chambers free
of leaks?
DECISION
Air fitting(s) are leaking or loose - Tighten fitting(s). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack locking mechanism latch(es) unlock
and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
Air hoses(s) leaking - Replace leaking air hose(s) (WP
0067). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack locking mechanism
latch(es) unlock and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
Pressure holdback valve leaking - Replace pressure holdback valve (WP
0070). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack locking
mechanism latch(es) unlock and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
Flatrack locking valve leaking - Replace pressure flatrack locking valve (WP
0085). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack
locking mechanism latch(es) unlock and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
Air reservoir 1 leaking - Replace air reservoir 1 (WP
0068). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack locking mechanism latch(es)
unlock and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
Air reservoir 2 leaking - Replace air reservior 2 (WP
0069). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack locking mechanism latch(es)
unlock and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
Air reservoir 3 leaking - Replace air reservior 3 (WP
0070). Go to (Step 7 - Does flatrack locking mechanism latch(es)
unlock and remain unlocked?) to verify problem is solved.
No leaks are present, all components OK - Go to (Step 2 - Does test equipment pass offset test?).
