CAUTION

Ensure area on wheels where preformed packing is installed is clean and free from sharp

edges. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment and air leaks.

8.

Coat new preformed packing (Figure 8, Item 1) with tire lubricant.

9.

Install preformed packing (Figure 8, Item 1) on inner wheel (Figure 8, Item 3).

CAUTION

Never use silicone, solvents, or petroleum based lubricants on tire bead or tire bead seat

areas. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.

10.

Lubricate both tire beads with tire lubricant, making sure excess lubricant does not run down into tire (Figure

9, Item 1).
