WARNING

Spring assembly weighs approximately 240 lbs (109 kg). Attach a suitable lifting device prior

to removal. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

NOTE

Lifting device is attached to front of spring assembly as close to center of spring assembly

as possible.

Attach lifting device to spring assembly (Figure 5, Item 1).

With the aid of an assistant, use lifting device and slide spring assembly (Figure 5, Item 1) forward and remove

from suspension hanger assembly (Figure 5, Item 2).

11.

Lower spring assembly (Figure 5, Item 1).

12.

Remove lifting device from spring assembly (Figure 5, Item 1).

13.

Remove liner pad (Figure 6, Item 1) from upper trunnion block (Figure 6, Item 2). Discard liner pad.
