7.
Install two spring pins (Figure 5, Item 5), washers (Figure 5, Item 4), and castle nuts (Figure 5, Item 3) in spring
(Figure 5, Item 1) ends. Tighten castle nuts to 35 lb-ft (47 N·m).

Continue tightening castle nuts (Figure 5, Item 3) to align slot in castle nut (Figure 5, Item 3) with hole in spring
pin (Figure 5, Item 5).
9.
Install cotter pin (Figure 5, Item 2) in spring pin (Figure 5, Item 5).
NOTE
Perform Step (10) if grease fittings were damaged.
10.
Install new grease fittings (Figure 5, Item 6) in spring pins (Figure 5, Item 5).
11.
Remove lifting device from spring (Figure 5, Item 1).
12.
Repeat Steps (1) through (11) for opposite side front spring.
