CAUTION
Use care not to cut into end cover when using sander/grinder to cut slots in bearing race.
9. Using a sander/grinder cut two slots 180 degrees apart at base of bearing race (Figure 3) and (Figure 4, Item
7). Offset slots slightly so that pry bars will overlap. Cut slots deep enough to catch the lip of the pry bar, but
not deep enough to cut into end cover.
