TACHOMETER ADAPTER.

a. Engine LDS-465-2.

(1) Cleaning.

There are no special cleaning procedures needed. Refer to

cleaning procedures given in para 4-3.

(2) Inspection and repair.

Check that tachometer takeoff adapter (1) is not cracked, stripped or damaged

in any other way.

Fix minor thread damage with thread chaser. If more re-

pair is needed, get a new part.

Check that tachometer adapter (2) is not cracked, stripped or damaged in any

other way.

Fix minor thread damage with thread chaser or tap. If more re-

pair is needed, get a new part.
