NOTE
Main thrust bearing halves (1) are different from other
main bearing halves (2).
Main thrust bearing halves
have a flange (3) on each side. Wear limits are same for
both kinds of main bearing half.
Readings must be within limits given in table 4-16. If
readings are not within given limits, throw away all 14
main bearing halves (1 and 2) and get
undersize main bearing kit.

Measure thickness of all 14 main bearing halves

If main bearing halves (1 and 2) were changed,
