1.
Remove SINCGARS antenna from vehicle.
a.
Remove bolt (6), two lockwashers (5), and ground strap (8) from inside vehicle.
Retain
hardware for re-installation after modification.
b.
Disconnect cable (7) from antenna base (3).
c.
Remove four screws (2), lockwashers (1), antenna base (3), and gasket (4) from vehicle.
Discard screws and gasket.
Retain antenna base and lockwashers for re-installation after
modification.
2.
Scrape any remaining gasket material from mating surface.
Clean with cleaning compound.
