REPLACE FUEL CUTOFF CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

Feed control assembly (3) through mounting hole in driver’s compartment bulkhead to power plant front access door

opening.

2.

Slide washer (5) and nut (4) onto control assembly (3). Secure control assembly to driver’s compartment bulkhead.

3.

Install control assembly (3) on three weldnuts (6). Secure with three clamps (7), washers (8) and screws (9).

CAUTION

Contact between the fuel shutoff cable and radiator coolant lines during operation of the carrier

may cause melting of the plastic case on the fuel shutoff cable.

4.

Remove slack from fuel shutoff cable so that it does not touch the auxiliary radiator tube.

5.

Install control assembly (3) on differential bracket (10). Secure with clamp (11), screw (12), and new locknut (13).

6.

Install pin (14) on fuel control arm (15). Secure with washer (16) and new cotter pin (17).
