ADJUST RAMP LOCK (M1064 ONLY) — Continued

ADJUSTMENT

WARNING

Falling ramp could cause severe injuries. Keep personnel clear of ramp area.

1.

Lowerramp(seeyour-10)

.

2.

Remove cotter pin (1) and headed pin (2) from clevis (3). Discard cotter pin.

3.

Disconnect link (4) from clevis (3).

Swing lever (5) forward. If catch (6) does not engage with striker (7), adjust catch (Step 5). If catch and striker

adjustment is correct, go to Step 7.

NOTE

Install the same number of flat washers (8)oneachsideofallfoursupports(9)

.

To adjust catch (6) and striker (7), remove eight screws (10) and key washers (11) from four supports (9). Discard key

washers. Install new flat washers (8) to shim between supports (9) and hull top plate.
