Removal

1

Remove two cap screws (1), catch strike (2), and shim(s) (3) on projectile access door (4). Discard shims.

NOTE

Replace thrust washer bearing if it appears to be damaged.

Remove and discard self-locking nut (5). Remove cap screw (6) and two flat washers (7). Remove projectile

access door (4). Remove thrust washer bearing (8).
