Battery ground cables disconnected.

REMOVAL
CAUTION
Use extreme care when handling ECU. Failure to do so may result in damage to internal
components.
1.
Disconnect CTIS wiring harness connector (Figure 1, Item 1) from ECU receptacle (Figure 1, Item 5).
2.
Remove three screws (Figure 1, Item 3) and ECU (Figure 1, Item 4) from transmission shifter tower
(Figure
1,
Item 2).
