ADJUSTMENT

WARNING

Trailer must be supported by blocking or support stands placed under axle or frame

throughout maintenance procedure. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to

personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

NOTE

The procedure for adjusting the service brake is the same for roadside and curbside.

1.

Apply handbrakes (WP

0005). Chock wheel assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) on opposite side of service brake

being adjusted.

2.

Raise axle (Figure 1, Item 2) on side being adjusted until wheel assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) is off the ground.
