For access to wires on cab connector, it may be necessary to perform Step (2) to remove

connector from dash.

Remove two locknuts (Figure 27, Item 4), screws (Figure 27, Item 1), and cab connector (Figure 27, Item 2)

from connector bracket (Figure 27, Item 3).

NOTE

Cab connectors and harness connectors are repaired the same way. Harness connector is

shown.

Remove secondary lock(s) (Figure 28, Item 2) from connector (Figure 28, Item 1).

Remove wire (Figure 29, Item 3), cable seal (Figure 29, Item 2), and electrical contact (Figure 29, Item 1) from

connector (Figure 29, Item 4) with contact socket removal tool.
