44.
Using hoist with sling, position sling over
powerplant so T-end is to front of tank.
45.
Attach four sling hooks to four lifting eyes on
powerplant.
Make sure sling cables hang
naturally; don't twist them when inserting hook
ends.
46.
Have persons station themselves to help guide
powerplant as it is hoisted out of tank.
WARNING
Powerplant weighs more than 8500
pounds.
Careless handling can
result in serious injury to personnel
or damage to equipment.
Do not
permit powerplant to strike hull.
