REPAIR/REPLACE DRIVER’S DISPLAY EXTERIOR MOUNTING BALL

INSTALLATION

NOTE

If exterior mounting ball is being installed on the vehicle for the first time, proceed to Step 1. If

exterior mounting ball is being installed in previously-modified vehicle, go to Step 5.

1.

On outside of vehicle, locate front driver’s side lamps. Locate angle bracket (3) behind blackout light.

2.

Position mounting ball (2) on angle bracket (1) near center of bracket.

3.

Using mounting ball (2) as a template, mark position for four holes (5). Remove mounting ball.

4.

Using drill and 1/4 in. (0.64 cm) drill bit, drill four through holes (5) in flat portion of angle bracket (3). Remove any

sharp edges after drilling.

5.

Install mounting ball (2) on angle bracket (3) on hull.

6.

Install four countersunk screws (1) and new self-locking nuts (4) on mounting ball (2).
