INSTALLATION

NOTE

If VMS is being installed in vehicle for the first time, proceed to Step 1. If VMS is being

installed in previously-modified vehicle, go to Step 5.

1.

Choose location on driver’s bulkhead.

2.

Remove four screws (1), washers (3) , and front access cover (2) from hull. Use socket wrench handle and 3/4 inch

socket.

3.

Place VMS (8) at desired position and mark locations of four holes (15).

WARNING

Metal chips and grinding dust can cause eye injury. Wear goggles and gloves.

4.

Using drill and 1/4 in. (0.64 cm) drill bit, drill four through holes (15).

5.

Install VMS (8), four socket head capscrews (4), flat washers (5), flat washers (11), and new self-locking nuts (12) on

vehicle. Have helper assist.
