REPAIR

1.

Replace defective parts as authorized by TM 9-1220-248-23&P.

INSTALLATION

1.

If removed, install two new helical coil inserts (2) (WP 0812 01).

CAUTION

Pitch of hexagon head capscrews is different. To prevent damage to equipment, ensure

capscrews are matched correctly with turntable holes.

2.

Align travel lock adapter (1) with holes in center beam of turntable (7).

3.

Install two flat washers (10) and hexagon head capscrews (11) to travel lock adapter (1).

4.

Install two flat washers (4) and hexagon head capscrews (5) to travel lock adapter (1).

5.

Align travel lock (6) with holes in travel lock adapter (1) and secure with two flat washers (12) and hexagon head

capscrews (13).

6.

Install new nonelectrical wires (8), (3), and (9).
