To prevent damage to equipment, ensure power is turned off at power distribution assembly

(PDA) before connection of battery cable.

NOTE

Refer to TM 9-1220-248-10 for radio setup procedures.

Refer to TM 11-5820-890-10-7 for information about the SINCGARS radio.

45. Route Y-joint of cable 3W1 (14) above AM1780 on radios.

46. Connect P1 connector of cable 3W1 (14) to J4 connector (21) on SINCGARS radio (22).

47. Connect P5 connector of cable 3W1 (14) to J3 connector (19) of PDA (11).

48. Connect P45 connector of cable 3W1 (14) to J2 connector (20) of PDA (11).
