VALVE ROCKER ARMS AND SHAFTS.

NOTE

The front and rear sets of valve rocker arms

and shafts are the same. This task is the same

for both sets and must be done for both.

a. Disassembly .

WARNING

Rocker arm assembly is under spring tension. Be

careful when taking off retaining ring (1) or parts

of rocker arm assembly will fly off, causing injury

to personnel.

Take off retaining ring (1) and thrust washer (2). Take off and tag rearmost

exhaust valve rocker arm assembly (3).
