CHAPTER 2
CREW COOLING SYSTEM INSTALLATION
SUBJECT:
Installation of new configuration Crew Cooling System (CCS).
DATE:
3 JANUARY 2006.
DESCRIPTION:
For vehicles with the Microclimatic Cooling System (MCS) installed, remove and discard the MCS
and all associated hardware, power supply and distribution equipment.
Install the original configuration Nuclear
Biological Chemical (NBC) system.
Install a new configuration CCS, consisting of a Microclimatic Cooling Unit
(MCU), Hose Assembly (Coolant Umbilical), a Crew Cooling Garment (Vest) and all associated wiring harnesses and
hardware.
