SITE AND SHELTER REQUIREMENTS
VMS Modem DS maintenance will be performed using the facilities contained within the Electronic Shop,
Transportable, AN/TSM–191(V)3.

SERVICE UPON RECEIPT OF MATERIEL
a.
Unpacking.
(1)
Place packed VMS Modem on a work bench.
(2)
Check the condition of the packaged VMS Modem.
Check the markings.
Note discrepancies.
(3)
Do not use sharp blades or sharp cutting tools when unpacking the VMS Modem.
Remove packing
material carefully.
b.
Check unpacked equipment.
(1)
Inspect the equipment for damage incurred during shipment.
If the equipment has been damaged,
report the damage on SF 364, Report of Discrepancy.
