NOTE
Visually verify that water tank is filled to within two inches from the top of the water tank
(WP 0015).
The magnet used to calibrate water level gauge is taken from behind passenger side
SCBA seat headrest.
NOTE
The term “swipe” means to move the magnet up to and then away from CAL. located just
left of the LED display on the water level gauge.
The magnet must be moved at least 1 in.
(2.54 cm) away when “swiping” the sensor.
The sensor that is activated behind CAL. is activated by the north pole of the magnet.
The
sensor will not respond to the south pole.
Polarity of magnet can be determined by rolling
magnet over a non magnetic surface and observing the side of the magnet that faces
north.
Once the calibration procedure starts, there is a six second time out.
Do not wait more
than six seconds to move from Step (4) to Step (5).
