Secure flywheel or gear train to prevent crankshaft from turning during removal of
crankshaft screw.
Remove screw (1) and spacer ring (2) from crankshaft.
Slide sleeve (3) off crankshaft.
b. Installation
NOT E
Secure flywheel or gear train to prevent crankshaft from turning during installation of
crankshaft screw.
(1)
Install sleeve (3), spacer ring (2), and screw (1) on crankshaft. Torque screw to 290-300 Ib-ft
(393-407 N•m).
