PLS SLIDER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION – CONTINUED

5. Use lifting device to place slider assembly (Figure 41, Item 1) on mounting blocks (Figure 41, Item 2), aligning

holes in slider assembly with front holes in mounting block.

NOTE

Perform steps 6 through 8 for both right and left sides.

6. Apply thread adhesive to four bolts.

7. Install four washers (Figure 41, Item 3) and bolts (Figure 41, Item 4) in slider assembly (Figure 41, Item 1).

8. Tighten six bolts securing mounting blocks to frame and eight bolts securing slider assembly to mounting

blocks.

9. Remove lifting device and sling from slider assembly.
