Circuit Breaker Replacement (Sheet 2 of 3)

Using socket, remove screw (F) with two

lockwashers.

Throw lockwashers away.

4.

Using socket, remove nut (G) with lockwasher

holding bus bar (H).

Throw lockwasher away.

5.

Remove bus bar (H).

6.

Using socket, remove screw (J) with lockwasher.

Throw lockwasher away.

7.

Remove lead (K).

8.

Using screwdriver, remove two screws (L) with flat washers and lockwashers.

Throw lockwashers away.

9.

Remove circuit breaker (M).

CLEANING AND INSPECTION:

1.

Inspect circuit breaker for corrosion.

If corroded areas cannot be cleaned using crocus cloth (Item 14, Appendix D) or

steel wool (Item 55, Appendix D), replace circuit breaker.

2.

Inspect for mechanical damage or wear.

If damaged or worn, replace circuit breaker.
