Check that crankshaft damper and pulley (1) is not cracked. If crankshaft
damper and pulley is cracked, throw it away and get a new one.
Check that rubber insert (2) in crankshaft damper and pulley (1) is not
cracked.
If rubber insert is cracked, throw away damper and pulley and
get a new one.
NOTE
Front and rear halves of damper and pulley (1) are held
together by rubber insert (2).
Check that rubber insert (2) has not pulled away from front or rear half of
crankshaft damper and pulley (1).
If rubber insert has pulled away from
front or rear half of crankshaft damper and pulley, throw away crankshaft
damper and pulley and get a new one.
Hold rear half of crankshaft damper and pulley (1) on floor with your feet.
Try to turn front half of crankshaft damper and pulley. If front half of
crankshaft damper and pulley is loose, throw away crankshaft damper and
pulley and get a new one.
